ABOUT THE TRIP

Kilimanjaro (5895 m) is the highest peak in Africa, located in Tanzania near the equator. It is included in the landmark international program Seven Summits, as well as in the program Seven Volcanoes that was created a bit later. It is also the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Our expedition to the Roof of Africa will pass along an interesting Machame route with maximum comfort. Our team will include a cook, porters, and even a waiter who will set the table for us. In addition to the local guides, the group will be accompanied by an experienced English-speaking mountain guide. Overnight stays on trekking in large triple tents, on thick mattresses 10 cm, 2 people per tent. Three meals a day with fruits and several dishes per meal. I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised with the service. With the maximum personal space you will be able to enjoy the journey and devote time to yourself without being distracted by everyday issues.

This is the most balanced travel program, where there will be time for rest, vivid emotions, and unforgettable impressions. Just imagine, after an excursion to the impressive Materuni waterfall, we will have an opportunity to take part in the preparation of coffee from the collection and processing of berries, to their roasting, followed up by tasting it at lunch. We will learn about the history of Tanzanian coffee production and all the processes. In addition, we will see authentic local villages and their traditional way of life.

The ascent will start on the southern side of the volcano. We will pass through the five climatic zones of Kilimanjaro, from the rainforest at the very foot to the Arctic glaciers at the top. It's like traveling from the sunny equator to the snowy Antarctica in one week! This route is good for its smooth acclimatization and the unique nature of the Kilimanjaro National Park.
